Welcome to the website for Texas' #1 ranked undergratuate Moot Court team!

Moot Court is an appellate litigation simulation program in which participants argue assigned cases in front of a mock appellate court. Participants receive invaluable experience in legal research, brief writing and, of course, oral argument.

While ubiquitous in law schools, competitive Moot Court at the undergraduate level is still relatively rare and a recent phenomenon. The University of North Texas pre-law program has been on the cutting edge of this trend. Consequently, NT consistently fields one of the best teams in the nation.

In the 2004-2005 school year, the NT Moot Court team won every state-wide undergraduate tournament, and placed third nationally. In the 2005-2006 school year, we were ranked the number one team in the state
