Mr. Larry E. Brinkley, Chair
In addition to accepting the
position of Board Chair in 2003,
Larry Brinkley is the Sales Manager for Bonick Landscaping in Dallas,
Texas. He
earned a B.A. in Political Science from UNT in '69 and an M.P.A. in
Public
Administration in '73. Larry has been a President's Council
member
since 1977, served as President of the North Texas Exes in 1995 and was
on the
board 1972-1999 and is active in the Alumni Chapter of the Lambda Chi
Alpha Fraternity, where he
served
as national President in 1994. Larry is a member of the Texas
Association
of Landscape Contractors, the Texas Landscape and Nurserymen
Association and the
Associated Landscape Contractors of America. Larry was a 2007
Alumni Appreication recepient for Political Science at UNT.

Mr. Mark Anthony Altermann
Former Chair Mark A. "Tony" Altermann is owner of Altermann
Galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He presently serves on the
Advisory Council for the Communities Foundation of Texas and the Santa
Fe Concert Association. He is a past board member of the Dallas
Visual Art Center, the Cowboy Artists of American Museum and Uptown
Inc. Public Improvement District. He is a present member and past
Chairman of the UNT President's Council, and a
former member of the Chief Executives Roundtable for the UNT
Professional Development Institute and the advisory board of the
Department of Dance and Theater Arts at UNT. He was the recipient
of the UNT Green Glory Award in 1999 and the Distinguished Alumnus
Award in 2002. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education (1965) and a Masters of Science degree in Theater Arts from
UNT (1968).

Mr. Richard C. Bartlett
Richard (Dick) Bartlett's international management career spans
over 40 years. Dick joined Mary Kay,
Inc. in 1973 to guide the company's marketing strategies. He became an
officer in 1976, a member of the board in 1979 and was named vice chairman of
Mary Kay, Inc. in 1993. Bartlett launched his international management
career by establishing Tupperware Home Parties, Inc. in Europe in 1960.
Dick has a key role in Texas and national environmental issues as Chairman
of the Texas Environmental Education Partnership Fund, appointed by President
George W. Bush. Dick is a member of the Eagle 500 Club at the
University of North Texas. He is the author of three books including The
Direct Option, The Sportsman's Guide to Texas and Saving the Best of Texas:
A Partnership Approach to Conservation.

Dr. Luigi Colombo
Dr. Colombo is a TI Fellow in Technology Research at Texas
Instruments. TI Fellows are scientists or technologists who are
recognized by his or her peers and TI managements for outstanding performance.
Fellows are elected based on patents, publications and, most importantly,
contributions to the success of TI projects.

Dr. Linda Truitt Creagh
Linda
Truitt Creagh recently retired as the Business Development Director for
FUJIFILM Dimatix, which designs and manufactures ink jet printheads for
materials deposition and digital printing. Linda joined FUJIFILM
Dimatix in 1985 when it was just venture capital backed startup
located near Hanover, New Hampshire. Before then, she had participated
in 10 years ink jet development with Xerox R&D and 7 years liquid
display research at Texas Instruments. She has a number of
technical publications and US and foreign patents in the fields of ink
jet technology and liquid crystal displays. Dr. Creagh holds a
B.S. (’62), M.S. (’63) and Ph.D. (’67) degrees from
the University of North Texas. She is the recipient of the first
science Ph.D. conferred by the University of North Texas.

The Honorable John Creuzot
Judge John Creuzot is a State District Judge in the Frank Crowley
Courts in Fort Worth. He graduated from UNT in '78 with a B.A. in Philosophy.
He received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law in '82.
John has endowed a scholarship in the Department of Philosophy - the John C.
Creuzot Philosophy Scholarship. His civic affiliations include the State
Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association and the Mental Health Association of
Dallas. Judge Creuzot is the recipient of the 2002 President's Citation.

Milton T. Dickson, D.D.S.
Dr. Milton Dickson is a practicing dentist in Gainesville,
Texas at Dickson, Dickson, and Gage.
He received his B.A. in Biology from UNT and is a graduate of
Baylor College of Dentistry ('59). Following
graduation he served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Fixed
Prosthetics at Baylor. He is
a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Gainesville ISD and
served as Chairman of the Board. He
is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Regents of North Central
Texas College and continues to serve as a Regent for NCTC and is a member
of the NCTC Scholarship Foundation Board.
Dr. Dickson serves as Chairman of the Board for the Southwestern
Diabetic Foundation, as well as Camp Sweeney, a medical educational and
life-style management program facility for children with Type I diabetes.
His professional affiliations include the American Dental
Association, the Texas Dental association, and the Academy of General
Dentistry.

James H. Gray, M.D.
Dr. James Gray is a practicing ophthalmologist and Chief of the
Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
He received his bachelor's in Biology in 1966 and his masters in 1967 from UNT.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of
Surgeons, and the John Hopkins Alumni Association. He is a former Chief of
the Emergency Room at Walter Reed Army Hospital , where he was on active duty
from 1972 to 1975. From 1975-1978, he did his residency and fellowship at
The Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute, John Hopkins Hospital, with rotation at
the Khalili Eye Hospital in Shiraz, Iran. His activities at UNT include
the President's Council, the Alumni Association and the J.K.G. Silvey Society.

Ms. Noel M. B. Hensley
Noel Hensley is a partner with the law firm of Haynes
and Boone specializing in securities litigation. She has twenty years
experience in a wide variety of business litigation matters. She graduated
magna cum laude from UNT in '75 with a B.S. in Secondary Education
She received her J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University's
School of Law in '78. Noel is a

Dr. Walter J. Hesse
Dr. Hesse is Chief
Executive Officer of ENTECH, Inc. the
wholly owned subsidiary of WorldWater and Solar Technologies Corp. and has
served in that position since the merger on January 28, 2008. From 1983 to January 28, 2008 he was CEO and
Chairman of the Board of directors of ENTECH, Inc. ENTECH is a small business high technology
solar energy company with products of concentrating photovoltaic systems and a
new high-tech skylight. The photovoltaic
systems are used to generate electrical power for terrestrial and space
applications. ENTECH was organized by a
management buy-out of a small division of E-Systems, Inc., now Raytheon
E-Systems. NASA’s Deep Space Probe, DS-1
was powered and propelled by electric energy produced by ENTECH’s special
concentrating solar modules, flew more than 230 million miles from earth and
rendezvoused with a comet in 2001.
ENTECH has contracts with NASA and the Missile Defense Agency of DOD.
Dr. Hesse has been involved in high
technology research and development work for more than 60 years. During most of that time he served in
management positions of large projects or divisions with complete profit and
loss responsibility. At E-Systems from
1977 to 1983, Dr. Hesse headed the Energy
Technology Center
as Vice President and General Manager during the period that several hardware
systems were installed and a key product, the linear Fresnel lens, solar
collector matured through development.
At Rohr Industries (1973-1977) Dr. Hesse was Vice President of the
Advanced Transportation Systems Division and in charge of advanced technology
automatic people-movers and advanced buses.
Bus prototypes were built and automatic people-movers were installed in Honolulu and at the Bronx
Zoo. In 1956 he joined the Chance Vought
Aircraft Corporation (later renamed the LTV Aerospace Corporation) and assumed
various positions in the engineering management area. He was made Vice President and an officer of
the company in 1965 and remained at LTV until 1973. During this period, he managed several major
defense programs including; the $140 million tri-services XC142 VSTOL program,
a classified nuclear powered missile program (SLAM and PLUTO), and ran the
marketing department and led the development of ground transportation
capability at LTV which resulted in the Air-Trans program at the DFW International
Airport. During his graduate work at Purdue University,
Dr. Hesse led some early pioneer work in high performance liquid propellant
rocket engines. At the U.S. Naval Air
Test Center, Patuxent River,
Maryland (1949-1955), he held the
position of Chief Engineer and Chief Academic Instructor at the Test Pilot
School. While there he also conducted
extensive research work including his Ph.D. thesis, on new methods of flight
testing the then new jet aircraft being introduced into the U.S. Navy. Four of the original seven astronauts were
among his students at the Test Pilot School.
During World War II he served as an
assistant engineer and electrical officer on board the submarine, the U.S.S.
Blenny. Dr. Hesse has published more
than 100 technical papers and is the author of two college textbooks in the
field of jet propulsion. He has served
as instructor at Purdue University, visiting Professor at the University of Maryland, and graduate lecturer at SMU
in the field of engineering.
Dr. Hesse has been honored with membership
in Pi Tau Sigma, Tau Beta Pi, and Sigma Xi fraternities. In 1966 Purdue University
honored him with the Distinguished Alumnus Engineering Award, in 1991 he was
honored with the additional award of Outstanding Mechanical Engineer, and in
1999 he received his third award, Outstanding Aerospace Engineer.
Dr. Hesse was a twelve
year Board Member and served as Chairman and President of the Solar Energy
Industry Association (SEIA). He served
on the Advisory Board of the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Texas
at Arlington
and the advisory board of the U.S. Solar Energy Research Institute. He was a member of the Scientific Panel to
the Congressional House Committee on Science and Astronautics, a member of the
Advisory Board for Joint Task Force Two of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a member
of the Texas Commission on Atomic Energy, and was Chairman of the Board of the
Aerospace Education Foundation of the Air Force Association. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for
the College of Arts
and Sciences of the University
of North Texas.

Mr. Dennis Kalk
After a brief stint at Oklahoma, Denny Kalk
came to UNT to continue his pre-med studies. He graduated with a B.S. in
Chemistry in '73. In 1974, he began working for Ayerst Labs, an American
Home Products pharmaceutical company and by 1980 he was the southwest area
military manager for Ayerst. Ayerst merged with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in
the 1990s. Denny is currently the federal manager for the large Veteran's
Administration and military accounts in Texas, in charge of coordinating
programs and promotions from their local office and the federal office in
Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

Mr. John Kelly
John Kelly is President of Kelly-Norwood Consulting based in San Marino, California.
He received a B.A. in Speech and Drama from UNT in '76 and an M.S. in Public
Administration and Communication in '78. John began his career at Atlantic
Richfield Company (ARCO) where he held the position of Senior Vice President
until ARCO was acquired by British Petroleum. John's professional affiliations
include the Los Angeles Urban League and INROADS, whose mission it is to prepare
minority youth for community leadership.

Charles T. Ku, D.D.S.
Dr. Charles Ku has been a practicing dentist in Lewisville
since 1974. He received his B.S. from Baylor University in 1970 and
his dental training Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas (1974).
Born in Mainland China and reared in Taiwan, Dr. Ku is the founder and
chairman of four Sunray Chinese Schools in the metroplex, the mission of
which is to teach Chinese children about their culture and heritage, as
well as to how to speak and write Chinese. He is also a Deacon at First
Baptist Church in Lewisville and active in the Lewisville Rotary
Club. Dr. Ku is on the Board of Directors of the R.I.C.E.
Foundation, Baylor Oral Health Foundation, Dallas Red Cross, SMU Deadman
College Board and SMU Asian Advisory Board Chairman. He was
appointed by former Government Bill Clements to the Texas State Board of
Dental Examiners (1987) and by former Governor George W. Bush to the Texas
Health Coordinating Council (1997).

Mr. David Preston
David Preston joined Balfour Beatty Construction
(formerly Centex) in 1977 as an
Estimator. Today, he serves as Vice President of Human Resources, with
responsibilities for the company's recruiting and sourcing,
compensation, employee training/leadership development, and retention
programs. In addition, he serves as a member of the company's Human
Resources Task Team, coordinating talent management practices for
employees on a national level. In 2005, David accepted his
current leadership role at a Corporate level for the company.
David earned a B.S. in Building Construction Technology from the
University of Southern Mississippi in 1977. He is an active member of
the Associated General Contractors of America. He is an advisory board member of
the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Texas and a past member of the Planning
Council for Hearts and Hammers, a program to rebuild homes for
disadvantaged citizens of the Dallas community.

Ms. Darlene Ryan
Darlene Ryan is
President and CEO of PharmaFab, a
contract manufacturer of solid dose and liquid formulations of branded and
generic pharmaceuticals in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Darlene serves
the local community as a volunteer teacher and board member for Junior
Achievement in Tarrant County, as a member of the advisory board for Helping
Restore Abilities in Arlington, as a foundation board member for the University
of North Texas Health Science Center, and as a board member for the Murphy
Enterprise Center at the University of North Texas.
Darlene is a
board member and officer of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association in
Washington, D.C. On the national level, she also serves as a board member
for the Association for Frontotemporal Dementia, based in Philadelphia.
Darlene
is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.A. from DePauw University in
mathematics and German, and an M.B.A. in accounting and finance from the
University of Chicago. Prior to founding PharmaFab, Darlene was a partner
and recognized expert in international taxation with Arthur Anderson in Chicago,
Denver, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Mrs. Karin Seligmann
Karin Seligmann is owner of a leading real estate business with the
Century 21 franchise in Denton, TX. Her involvement with UNT includes
being a Life Time Member of the President's Council, a Life Member of
the North Texas Exes, and Advisory Board Member for the Department of
Marketing and Logistics. In addition, she has endowed a scholarship in
the name of her husband, G. L. Seligmann, a historian at UNT as well as
funding a scholarship for marketing students in the College of
Business. As a retired professor teaching 21 years, with a B.A. and
M.A. in English as well as many hours of Ph.D. course work (completed
at UNT), Karin supports scholarships and unrestricted funding of
virtually every department in the College of Arts and Science, as well
as other UNT departments.

Mr. Robert F. Sherman
Bob Sherman is co-owner of Sherman Enterprises of Denton.
Bob and his wife, Bette, are lifetime members of the UNT President's Council.
Bob is the retired president and chief operating officer of First Colonial
Bankshares Corporation. He has served on the boards of the Cumberland
Presbyterian Children's Home, the Denton Community Theatre, the Denton Housing
Authority and on the United Way of Denton County's CARE Committee. Bob is a
2002 recipient of the Green Glory Award.

Mr. Randolph Stout
Randy Stout is an attorney and partner at Hayes,
Coffey & Berry, P.C. He earned a B.A. in History from the
University of North Texas in '71. He earned his law degree from
South Texas College of Law in '80. Prior to entering law school, Randy taught in
Gainesville ISD. He serves as general
counsel to the Denton Independent School District. He is a member and past
president of the Denton County Bar Association, member of the College of the
State Bar, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the Denton County
Crime Reduction Commission. Randy specializes in the areas of governmental,
school, civic litigation and family law.

Dr. Leroy Whitaker
Dr. Whitaker is retired General Patent Counsel at Eli Lilly and Company.
Leroy graduated from UNT with a B.S. in Chemistry in '50 and an M.S. in
Chemistry in '52. His activities at UNT include being a Lifetime Member of
the President's Council, a member of the Department of Chemistry Advisory
Board, chair of the Welch Chair Steering Committee and the College of Arts and
Sciences Capital Campaign Chair. He is affiliated with the Texas State and
American Bar Association. He was the recipient of the 2001 Outstanding
Alumnus Award and 2006 honoree of the College of Arts and Sciences Profiles of Leadership.

Tim White is Senior Vice
President at The Buxton Company and is responsible for communicating
efficiently all aspects of the company regarding projects, services
offered and all other business solutions for the client. Over the past
8 years Tim has developed and adopted new technologies in creating the
company's various products. Tim received his B.A. with a major in
Geography from the University of North Texas.
