RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROFESSOR EMERITUS

Supporting materials must include:

1. recommendation from the department PAC

2. recommendation from the department chair

3. recommendation from the dean

4. paragraph outlining the accomplishments of the individual during his/her tenure at North Texas

Nominees for such recognition should be recent retirees from significant faculty service at the University.

An individual on modified service who continues to teach on a part-time basis cannot be recommended for emeritus status while still teaching.
