Recipient of scholarship will be chosen based on over all achievement.

    To be eligible for consideration for the Altermann and Bradford Scholarship, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the department’s graduate program in effect at the time of the award;

2. Maintain full time enrollment at the University, unless there is fewer than twice the number of semester hours required to be full-time remaining in their degree program.

3. Provide at least two letters of recommendation from persons familiar with applicant’s academic work; and, 

4. Complete the scholarship application form, submit letters of recommendation, transcripts of all college work along with a narrative statement discussing career goals, work record, and extracurricular activities.

DEADLINE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 09-10 is May 1, 2009.  The application must be received by email, postmarked by May 1st or delivered in person to the Department of Mathematics, General Academic Building, Suite 435 by due date.
