Most software applications are updated on a frequent basis, making printed manuals out-of-date almost as soon as they are printed. Additionally, most software companies provide User Manuals or other reference materials (usually in PDF format) on their websites, which they are able to update whenever a change is made to their software. For these reasons, the CAS General Access Computer Labs (CASGAL) have chosen to discontinue keeping printed User Manuals for most software applications.

However, CASGAL does have some manuals and/or documentation in the GAB 550 General Access Computer Lab for some "legacy" applications:
