Introduction to the CAS General Access Computer Labs Job Application System

Please read all instructions carefully.

Please save us both time: only apply for the Lab Monitor or Lab Technician positions if you have relevant qualifications.

Once you are sure you meet the requirements, complete the form for:

• Lab Monitor job application

or

• Lab Technician job application.

After you have completed the form, you should receive the Sent Job Application page.

Once a sufficient number of applications have been received, hiring of new lab employees will be done according to the following procedures:

1. All applications will be reviewed and the top 20 percent of those applicants wil be selected for a preliminary telephone interview.
2. The Lab Manager or Lab Network Administrator will conduct the phone interviews.
3. The top 40 percent of those applicants who received a phone interview will be contacted for a second interview.
4. The Lab Manager or Lab Network Administrator will conduct the secondary interviews.
5. All available positions will be filled by hiring the top candidates from the group who received a second interview.
