Class Study 1

Is a reaction-time procedure susceptible to a practice effect? In other words, are response times affected by the number of previous trials a subject has had? To answer this question, a researcher gathers data from 25 subjects responding to 20 (syntactically and lexically identical) sentences and records the average response time for each trial. The researcher then determines whether response times correlate positively with order of presentation.
