Class Study 2

Are the number of errors on the third-person singular "s" in the L2 English of beginning-level learners a factor of age and/or IQ? To answer this question, a researcher gathers data (using obligatory-occasion methodology) on the number of errors that occurred in the first five journal entries of 23 learners and administers the Peabody IQ test to each learner. The researcher gathers information on each learner's age (in years and months), recorded as decimal figure. The researcher performs an ANOVA to determine which of the two independent variables determine the dependent variable.
