Class Study 3

Do two different methods of scoring (exact word and acceptable word) CLOZE tests change student ranking? To answer this question, a researcher tests 30 Chinese-speaking learners of L2 English at an intensive English program. The researcher scores the tests twice (percent correct), once using the acceptable-word method and once using the exact-word method. The researcher then determines if a correlation exists.
